Paul Curtman

Paul Curtman is an ardent student of history and supporter of the United States Constitution. His outspoken and public advocacy for our elected leaders to adhere and be responsive to the will of the people and the United States Constitution has resulted in numerous appearances on both local and national television and talk radio shows. Paul believes that sound principles are the cornerstone of good government. He is a twenty eight year old who served ten years in the Marine Corps as an infantryman. While in the Marine Reserves he attended the University of Missouri where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Paul is a political candidate for State Representative in the 105^th District who describes himself as a product of the Tea Party movement. Paul lectures about the U.S. Constitution and Articles of Confederation and is the author of “Don’t Tread On Me! The Constitution and State Sovereignty”.

Kerry Messer

Kerry Messer is President of the Missouri Family Network (MFN) and a registered lobbyist who works hard in Jefferson City on many of the issues that Missouri First also cares about, especially ones that affect the family. MFN and Kerry are supported by voluntary contributions by God-fearing Missourians who are interested in promoting justice and liberty. Kerry is an ordinary farmer who raises cattle and has been a lobbyist for Pro Family Issues for 25 years. He cares about other Missouri families. Kerry has been confronting the culture as a lobbyist for the Missouri Baptist Convention’s (MBC) Christian Life Commission and as founder of Missouri Family Network (MFN). Messer is in Jefferson City Monday through Thursday during the legislative session. He spends his days tracking bills, strategizing with other lobbyists who share the same goals, visiting legislators’ offices, talking with legislators in the side galleries, helping to draft legislation, and testifying at hearings. In the process, he prays with and for legislators and members of their staff regarding their personal concerns, home issues, and understanding of Scripture about issues they’re dealing with on the floor. The bigger ministry of Missouri Family Network is one of trying to mesh biblical principles with public policy. Messer tries to find a project every year that is not related to any bills or policies but which might challenge legislators spiritually.
